As a corporate citizen, UnderCoverWear has donated over $1,000,000 to a number of charities including the Starlight Foundation, Cancer Council of Australia and the Cancer Society of New Zealand.
Specifically UnderCoverWear Corporate has a strong partnership with the Cancer Council of Australia and their annual fundraising event the October Girls Night In which raises valuable funds for women diagnosed with breast or gynaecological cancers. According to the Cancer Council of Australia, over 16,000 Australian women are diagnosed with breast or gynaecological cancer each year. Over the last 10 years there have been many advances in the detection and treatment programs which has meant that a vast majority of women survive, however unfortunately over 4,000 women still loose their battle with cancer each year. This is why the Girls Night In is so important.
UnderCoverWear designs and manufactures a charity t-shirt specifically for the Girls Night In event, and donates AU$10 (NZ$12) from the sale of every t-shirt and we are extremely proud to be a principal sponsor of the Girls Night In. Get your friends together this October and do your bit to assist the Girls Night In.
